ConfTool TK Engineering CANopen Conf tool is an advanced but easy-to-use configuration tool for configuring CANopen nodes. CANopen Conf tool uses CASTOR or any Kvaser CAN-interface as interface to the CAN-bus. CANopen Conf tool provides easy configuration for any commercially available CANopen node. CANopen Conf tool runs on PC as well as PDA. When using a PDA, Castor CAN-RS232 is used to communicate with the CAN bus. For PC any Kvaser CAN-hardware or CastorUSB can be used. CANopen Conf tool helps the user to configure nodes for the correct position by using XML configuration files together with DCF and EDS files. The logging function of the program creates a log file of the messages sent during complete configuration. The CANopen Conf tool can be used for automatic or interactive configuration of nodes. CANopen Conf tool runs on PC as well as PDA. When using a PDA, Castor or Kvaser hardware is used to communicate with the CAN bus. For PC any Kvaser, Vector or Castor CAN-hardware can be used.
