Profibus Diagnostics Education

The training focuses on key aspects of the physical and logical analysis of a PROFIBUS network.
Mobile analysis tools such as cable testers and protocol analyzers are used for this task.

Transmission technology

- Physical analysis of RS-485 networks, elimination of physical problems
General statements on the bus state, recording the temporal and spatial signal level profiles of individual stations
Elimination of physical disruptions based on the measurement results

- Logical analysis of PROFIBUS communication
Recording and analysis of PROFIBUS telegrams
Using filters to identify errors Correcting/optimizing PROFIBUS parameters based on the measurement results
