Based on the Host Mobility MX-8 core platform the unit includes advanced power management functions as well as upgrade ability to GPS positioning and GSM/GPRS communication. The JDD feature a special casing that is suitable for panel mounting and is ideal for maritime applications. User interaction is handled through an integrated touch screen.
