Kvaser Memorator

With the Kvaser Memorator data from the CAN-bus can be stored on a regular SD or MMC memory card. Kvaser Memorator also offers a dual-channel CAN interface with USB connector. The delivery also includes a 64 MB Viking High Speed MMC memory card.

The Kvaser Memorator also has a USB connector, so that it can be used as a regular USBcanII. Kvaser Memorator also has a separate configuration software, which enables the unit to be configured and the configuration to be stored on the Flash card. This makes it easy to configure the unit with a PC, and load the configuration into the Memorator.

Triggers
Kvaser Memorator can collect data continuously or the function can be triggered by external triggers or messages and/or signals from the CAN-bus. Triggers also contain pre- and post-triggering functions.

Filters
Kvaser Memorator can also filter which message it records. Message identificators can be read from a database or all messages can be recorded.

Memory cards
Kvaser Memorator uses standard MMC or SD flash memory cards. Kvaser recommends, and unit delivery includes, Viking High Speed MMC (64 MB). Larger cards, up to 1 GB, can be used but their behaviour varies. Recommended cards can be found at www.kvaser.com
