Kvaser PC104 Kvaser's PCI104 board is an ideal solution for providing communication between the CAN bus and an embedded PCI-104 system. The two high speed CAN channels on the card are compliant with ISO11898-2 and offer a galvanic isolation between the CAN bus and the embedded control system. The high performance microcontroller offers accurate time stamping of messages as well as a high throughput of data from the CAN bus to the host system. Since the Kvaser PCI104 has an wide temperature range and it is compatible with higher layer protocols, e.g. CANopen and J1939, it is an excellent solution for any type of embedded control system, wether it is an industrial or a mobile application. The Kvaser PCI104 CAN board is programmed via the common software API for Kvaser CAN cards, called CANlib.
